ZoomPal: Program Brochure

Audience - Students in grades K-2

Our ZoomPal Program offers an opportunity to create meaningful connections and friendships among school aged children from different cultural backgrounds. We partner with classrooms to offer a plan for interaction and learning throughout the year.

ZoomPals make video calls once a month with one of our classrooms in Guatemala and they also share videos, drawings and letters. This is a great opportunity for students to develop a global consciousness and practice intercultural communication.  The ZoomPal program is a place to form friendships and connections based on empathy, respect and curiosity.

Change for Change: Program Brochure

Audience - Students in grades 5-8

Change for change is a program for middle years students to learn about the importance of giving back by donating and fundraising in their schools. This program provides students with a global perspective on social issues while fostering a sense of interconnectedness with fellow students in Guatemala.

Over a designed 6 weeks, the Change for Change program invites students to explore ways to become agents of change and use their collective power to make the world a better place. At the root, this program seeks to create philanthropic-minded individuals who understand the complexities of social issues on a personal level, recognizing their own privilege and taking action to create a more peaceful and equitable place for other children to live.
